Studies

The Center for Pharmaceutical Research (CPR) conducts clinical trials in virtually all medical specialties. Whether you are looking for a novel treatment for a specific condition, or are interested in healthy volunteer or vaccine trials, CPR offers volunteers a full range of clinical trial opportunities. We invite you to browse our site or go directly to our Frequently Enrolling Studies page.

At CPR, our volunteers are treated as honored guests. When surveyed, 95% percent of our volunteers are happy with their experience and over 90% want to be in another study.

Why do our volunteers participate?

  • It feels good to volunteer!
  • Volunteers may receive new treatments that are otherwise not available.
  • All study medication is provided at no cost.
  • Study-related medical care, labs, and other tests are FREE!
  • Compensation is provided for time and travel.
  • Personal attention from our medical staff.

Here's what volunteers are saying about CPR:

  • "As one who has no medical insurance, it was a good way to have my health monitored for two years while contributing to the program.
It was a win-win for everyone. Your staff is the best! Just keep up the excellent work."
    --M.M., High Cholesterol Study Volunteer

  • "The greatest benefit was I was WITHOUT pain for 2 weeks. It's like a miracle drug. Other benefit include copies of EKG, labs, etc..
And the payment, which I would have participated even if there was no money involved.
There is absolutely nothing you can improve -- the nurse and your team are outstanding professionals."
--R.P., Osteoarthritis of the Knee Volunteer

  • "I especially liked the testing. The program ran so smoothly, there wasn't any "wait time" during the whole routine."
    --J.O., Alzheimer's Disease Volunteer

  • "My study experience could not have been better. . . . I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in this study.
I would consider it a privilege to be included in any future studies that I would qualify for. Thank you for including me in the study."
    --H.T., Osteoporosis Volunteer

  • "I feel it was a first-class experience from start to finish. The compensation was more than fair and added to the value."
    --R.L., Vaccine Volunteer

  • "Your staff was more informative than any other professional help I have had and also helped me to understand it better.
My questions were answered. A very positive experience. Your staff was all very pleasant at all visits and
worked hard to get each appointment accomplished in a timely manner."
    --N.B., High Cholesterol Volunteer

  • "I feel everyone benefits from the studies. Participation in these studies, on an individual basis, is an effective
and positive way of finding new and different breakthroughs in medications desperately needed."
    --J.E., Migraine Volunteer

  • "Everyone I had the privilege to meet and have contact with during the study was GREAT! . . .
Evaluation of health, ECG's, blood tests, and knee x-rays were much appreciated.
To have such (done) via my family physician would have been difficult and quite costly to obtain!"
    --E.E.B., Osteoarthritis Volunteer

  • "What can I say? Everything was great. . . I couldn't have asked for better care.
Thank you for letting me be part of this research."
    --H.G.B., Clinical Trial Volunteer

  • "I just want to personally thank you for all that you have done for me.
Your kindness and caring ways have touched me deeply and I will never be able to express my sincere appreciation.
The world is truly a better place because of people like you!"
    --L.S., Osteoarthritis Volunteer

  • "My appointments were always convenient and everyone involved was so courteous and helpful. The study nurse was wonderful."
    --S.N., Rheumatoid Arthritis Volunteer

  • "I was always kept well informed. Lab values were reviewed and explained.
Appointments were always made with my convenience in mind. The lab staff was great!"
    --S.C., High Cholesterol Volunteer
